Well Christmas is coming and as far as Eric is concerned it's tomorrow! Everyday we get a new list of items he has 1.) Seen on a TV commercial or 2.) Heard about from someone, that he just has to have from Santa Claus. He's learning to write down the 800 numbers on those info-mercials. His recent obssesion is some bath toy that makes tons of bubbles by being hooked up to the faucet as the bath water is running. He's so funny. In all seriousness it is going to be a fun holiday season with him this year. He can't wait until he can go tell Santa all of his wishlist. If you're early shopping and looking for ideas, here are a few of the million he's mentioned:-)
1. Bath Bubble machine off TV---good luck with that one
2. Transformers rated for Age 5. He can't change the more complicated ones he has.
3. LED lights that stick on stuff
4. Camo like daddy (He wears a Size 5, I buy a 6 for outwear though)
5. A new bike
6. Star Wars sheets (twin)
7. Camo Crocs (Size 1)
8. He adds to it daily!

New Baby!
Well after a long wait...Baby Gracie has finally arrived! She is just beautiful! On Wednesday morning, June 27th we welcomed Gracie Elise Rogers into the world. She weighed only 7lbs and was a tall 21" long. I had been having contractions the day before but they very were infrequent and mild. When Brandon went to bed Tuesday night, we discussed that Gracie would probably come the following day. So I stayed up catching up on some housework, took a nice bath, then went on to bed myself. At 3:30 I woke up with contractions only about 1 minute apart. We immediately called Laura so she could come and stay with Eric. At about 4:00 we set out for the hospital and by 5:16 we said hello to Miss. Gracie. As I don't particularly like hospitals,, the short stay in L & D was nice but delivery wouldn've been much nicer with drugs. I AM a huge fan of the epideral. Unfortunately I got no drugs When I was wheeled into the delivery room, I was told that there was not time for anything. With Eric, my eyes looked a little hazy from the epideral in the first mommy- baby pictures. That would not have been the case this time. In fact, I was still in my own clothes---no ugly gown this time either. I think (if there's a next time), I'll pace the bottom floor of the hospital at the first sign of pain. Gracie is gorgeous and worth it all, but I don't ever want to repeat this experience. My doctor says I'll laugh about this in a few years......we'll see.

House Update
Well, this picture is a little old but since I had several e-mails asking how we were coming on the house I decided to post it. If you look really closely you can see Eric standing in the doorway. We're ready for drywall and brick:-) So, even though Baby Gracie (?) isn't going to have a new house ready to come home to, hopefully it won't be too long after. ...especially since mommy sent all non-pregnancy clothes to storage. At least I can't come home with the bright idea to see if my old clothes fit immediately. Ha! That was a joke last time. We did go back to the doctor today. No new news. Afterward we stepped over to the hospital and filled out about a million disclaimers. So the staff should let you guys know if we are there. And now there is even a separate disclaimer to allow them to release the baby's name to friends/family that ask. We signed them all---why would we not want them to help spread the good news~! For the out-of-towners, here is the # 451-5518. Sumner Regional has permission to let you know if the baby is here yet/etc. over the phone.

Preggie Pics

Well, since we didn't last time, we did this time! Brandon, me & Eric all did the family pregnancy pics. It actually turned out to be alot of fun. Eric was being so silly the day we went. I haven't even gotten to look at all of them yet because there are so many. But I'm sure I'll be posting more later.
And...we went to the doctor again yesterday. We're making a little progress. Little Miss Rogers might be here sooner than the end of June after all! And the way she's starting to kick, I see karate or big time soccer in her future:-)

May 24th trip to the doc
Well we went for our check-up on Thursday and everything's great! Baby Girl Rogers is about 5 lbs and 18 inches long (give or take a little). It's amazing she's that big and still has room to kick so much! Eric has started saying I ate a basketball. I can't imagine who told him that one. He thinks its hilarious. I think it's precious he "listens" to my tummy to hear the baby now though. And every few days he'll say "We are NEVER going to get our baby momma." I think his patience are running out. I'm going to try and post her ultrasound picture since it is the only one we have so far and see how that goes.

6 more weeks to go!!
Look at that belly!! Baby girl Rogers is well on her way. We go back to the doctor May 24th but pretty much we're down to just waiting on her to decide when the big day will be. If only she had a name?! We're open to suggestions, we just can't decide! We like Elise (my middle name) but what goes with that? Buying pink has been so much fun after 3 years of all blue but finding the perfect little girl name has us stumped. We'd love to hear what you think. We're still looking at our new baby girl coming around June 30th at Sumner Regional Medical Center. May 11 2007
